The Fiji Corrections Service is seeking potential candidates for OHS Officer. The incumbent will be responsible to the Commissioner through the Assistant Commissioner Operations in providing operational support and advice on a diverse range of OHS related issues, development and execution of OHS policies and practices that are consistent with the requirements of Government and legislation and to liaise closely with Divisional Supervisors to ensure they are providing services and advice that meets the current needs of their operational areas.

 

Qualification

Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from an accredited university, have a minimum of five year work experience in similar position, have excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and follow up actions. Previous experience in government with a similar role would be an advantage.
