The Fiji Corrections Service officially commenced Vuvale (Family) Week this first week of August with church services across all divisional institutions nationwide.
This marked Vuvale (Family) Week, dedicated to investing time and focus on family and values values within the FCS community.
All Divisions gathered at their respective Churches to dedicate the week to God, reinforcing the foundation of faith, love, and service.
The Scripture reading for the service was taken from 1 Timothy 6:17-19, which calls on

believers to not place their hope in wealth, but in God — who richly provides all we need. The passage encourages us to “do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.”
All personnel were reminded that true wealth lies not in material possessions but in the acts of kindness, integrity, and service to others — values that are at the heart of the Vuvale Week theme.
