Thirty members of the Fiji Corrections Service attended a training facilitated by the Ministry of Civil Servants at the Fiji Learning Institute for Public Service in Nasese on 23/5/25.
The Inter-Agency Civil Service training program covered the fundamentals of How to Develop an Individual Work Plan (IWP) at a strategic level, inline with the organization’s Annual Corporate Plans under the National Development Plan.
The program focused on the development of key components of planning that can be later used to effectively measure Key Performance Indicators.
Also, in attendance were members from other sectors of the Civil Service.
The coverage areas of the program included the Performance Management Framework Cycle, Planning, and its link to the National Development Plan, how to achieve KPI, and how to calculate ratings.
The 3-hour morning program is part of the Governments initiative to boost the capacity level of all civil servants and will be conducted regularly, covering other topics.
