Fiji Corrections Service personnel from the National Headquarters kick-started their Required Fitness Level (RFL) testing this morning along the Queen Elizabeth Drive.
The RFL was led by the Acting Commissioner, Mr Sevuloni Naucukidi and his Command Group.
Registrations began from 0445hrs followed by a small warm-up session conducted by the Physical Training Instructors before the first test – a 2.4km run started at approximately 0530hrs.
Civilians also joined the activity in support of its wellness aspect.
The bi-annual event, ensures that all personnel maintain a minimum level of fitness and

wellness so that they may be able to conduct their work efficiently.
The work of Corrections also requires that one is fit and able also as a measure of their own protection and deterrent to illness and stress.
The RFL continues this week in other divisions around the country.
