The team first conducted inspections at the Western Division Headquarters and the Transport Pool, focusing on operational readiness, fleet management, and administrative functions.

The inspection then proceeded to the K9 Unit and the Emergency Control Unit, where officers demonstrated their operational capabilities, discipline, and preparedness in maintaining security standards.

The day’s inspection concluded at the Lautoka Women’s Corrections Centre, where facility conditions, security protocols, and staff performance were assessed.

The Acting Commissioner and his Command Team will continue visiting other Corrections Centres in the Western Division throughout the week as part of the ongoing National Inspection program.
