Yesterday was a proud and significant day for the Fiji Corrections Service after the graduation of five dedicated personnel with a Diploma in Pastoral Counseling Studies with Pasifika Community University.
Graduating were:
– PCO Josevata Rotidara
– COB Inia Daroya
– COB Lemeki Naqiolevu
– COB Timoci Rokoua
– COB Waisale Sadranu
This achievement represents a profound commitment to the core of our mission: Rehabilitation, Restoration, and Reintegration.
Through their intensive studies, these officers are now uniquely equipped to provide compassionate and professional pastoral counseling to our inmates.

They will be a guiding light, offering spiritual and emotional support to those navigating a difficult chapter in their lives. This holistic approach is crucial in addressing the root causes of offending behavior and helping individuals heal, find hope, and prepare for a positive return to their communities.
This investment in training for FCS personnel helps ensure a safer, more compassionate Fiji.
The FCS continues to build an environment where Correction goes beyond containment, fostering genuine change from the inside out.
The FCS congratulates the graduates and also thanks their families for supporting them through the duration of this 3-month course.
