The Acting Commissioner of Corrections acknowledged the Turaga na Tui Bua’s leadership and unwavering support, which greatly contributed to the success of the events. He extended heartfelt appreciation for the warm hospitality shown to the Fiji Corrections Service and all stakeholders who participated in the programs aimed at promoting second chances and community reintegration.

In response, the Turaga na Tui Bua assured the Fiji Corrections Service that the Province of Bua remains fully committed to supporting rehabilitation efforts, emphasizing that the vanua stands ready to work together in helping inmates from Bua reintegrate positively back into society.
