

The Fiji Corrections Wives hosted their much-anticipated Awards Night Dinner yesterday at the HFC Stadium, marking the conclusion of their annual Volleyball Tournament 2025. The evening was filled with elegance, celebration, and recognition of the remarkable women who stand as the pillars of support behind the Fiji Corrections Service.
The highlight of the tournament saw National Headquarters Wives reclaim the championship title in an exciting final against Labasa Corrections Wives, proving once again their dominance on the court and their unity as a team.
Chief Guest, Acting Commissioner of Corrections, Mr. Sevuloni Naucukidi, graced the Awards Night and, in his address, praised the women for their outstanding presence and the important roles they hold within their families. He emphasized that wives are the HEART of the family, playing a vital role in keeping the home strong, resilient, and grounded.
“Your strength, support, and love are what keep the family beating. Tonight, we not only celebrate your victories on the court but also your invaluable contribution to the Fiji Corrections family as a whole,” Mr. Naucukidi said.
