Naboro – The Fiji Corrections Service last night hosted a Graduation Dinner at the Naboro Officers Mess Hall to recognize eight officers who have successfully completed their remaining attachment training for the Duty Officers Course 1/25.
The officers were part of a larger group of 25 who undertook five weeks of theoretical training last year. The final phase of their training was conducted on the ground, where their performance was assessed in real operational settings.
The evening was graced by the Acting Deputy Commissioner of Corrections, Mr. Apolosa Veve, who delivered an address following the dinner. In his remarks, he acknowledged the dedication and perseverance shown by the officers throughout their training journey and encouraged them to uphold the standards and responsibilities expected in their roles.
The event was also attended by senior officers of the Fiji Corrections Service, who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the graduates and reaffirm their commitment to officer development and professionalism within the organization.
The Graduation Dinner marked an important milestone for the officers as they transition into their duties with enhanced skills and practical experience.
