The inspection began with a Supervisors Brief delivered by Supervisor Southern Division, Superintendent Alevio Turaga, setting the tone for the day’s activities.

The team proceeded through the Southern Divisional Headquarters, Emergency Control Unit (ECU), Corrections Academy, and K9 Unit, assessing operational readiness, training standards, and security capabilities.

Inspections also covered staff quarters, Field 25 farms, and the Piggery and Poultry Farms, focusing on sustainability initiatives, resource management, and working conditions.

The day concluded with an inspection of the Basic Recruit Dormitory.

The Acting Commissioner commended officers for their preparedness and reaffirmed the importance of maintaining high standards across all areas of operations.
