During his presentation, Superintendent Dausiga shared awareness on the current statistics of inmates from the Province of Lomaiviti currently serving sentences in correctional centres around the country, while also highlighting the importance of community support in the rehabilitation and reintegration process.

He encouraged leaders, families, and village representatives to continue strengthening support systems for discharged inmates returning to their villages, families, and vanua.

Superintendent Dausiga also took the opportunity to answer questions raised by village leaders, with discussions focused on how communities can better assist returning men and women in rebuilding their lives positively after release.
