Sacred Heart Cathedral, Suva – Catholic members from Fiji’s disciplined and security forces came together today to celebrate the Feast Day of St Michael, the patron saint of members of the armed and uniformed forces.
The celebration was held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Suva, where personnel from the Fiji Military Forces, Fiji Police Force, Fiji Navy, Fiji Corrections Service and other friendly forces gathered for a special Holy Mass.

The Mass provided an opportunity for Catholic members across the various forces to come together in faith, fellowship and reflection, while recognising the dedication and service of personnel who serve and protect the people of Fiji.
The gathering also highlighted the strong bonds of camaraderie and unity shared among Fiji’s disciplined forces, both in service and in faith.
The Feast of St Michael serves as a reminder to members of the forces of their commitment to duty, service, courage and responsibility as they carry out their respective roles in serving the nation.
