𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐂𝐒 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐬

The Permanent Secretary of Immigration, Mr Aliki Salusalu made a coutersy visit to the Acting Commissioner, Mr Auta Moceisuva yesterday.

The meeting was to touch base on conditions regarding the detention of detainees in FCS facilities and their welfare before they are returned back to their country of origin.

Mr Salusalu was acompanied by his Investigation and Compliance Unit and also his Border Security team and discussions also ventured into areas of interest affecting the nation like the transportation of drugs into the country through foreigners.

Both organisations now plan to meet on a regular basis in future.
