𝐅𝐈𝐉𝐈 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐅𝐈𝐉𝐈 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒

Senior Fiji Corrections Service officers shared presentations on the organisation’s role, strategic direction, and the importance of strengthening collaboration between the Fiji Corrections Service and the Fiji Police Force to reduce crime and inmate recidivism.

Presentations were delivered by Director Planning, Policy and Development, Superintendent Jone Biu; Director Training and Rehabilitation, Superintendent Isireli Dausiga; Director Human Resources and Management, Superintendent Aisea Vucago; and Director Operations and Intelligence, Superintendent Lemeki Rokovesa.

Course participants also visited the Suva Women’s Corrections Centre and the Suva Remand Centre, where they observed daily operations, security procedures, and the responsibilities carried out by Corrections Officers within custodial environments.

The visit provided participants with a greater understanding of the Fiji Corrections Service’s role in public safety, offender rehabilitation, and community reintegration, while reinforcing the value of continued partnership between the two disciplined organisations in building safer communities.
