SENIOR ACCOUNTS OFFICER

The Fiji Corrections Service is seeking potential candidates for Senior Accounts Officer. The incumbent will be responsible to the Commissioner of Corrections through the Deputy Commissioner for compliance of the Financial Act, Financial Manual, Fiji Procurement Regulation, disbursement of Capital and Operating funds, Control expenditure, Provide sound financial and accounting advice to the Commissioner and oversee the management of financial related matters and activities for Small Business Units with the Trade and Manufacturing Accounts.

Qualification

Degree in Accounting and Commerce or Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. Must have 3-5 years work experience as an Accounts Officer. Must have excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and follow up actions. Previous experience in government with a similar role would be an advantage.
